The Farewell programme for the Third Year Philosophy brothers of the year 2025 was held on 28th March 2025, at 6pm in the St. Charles Seminary Centenary Auditorium. The programme was organized by the Second year Philosophy brothers. The Event commenced when the Second year philosophy brothers with musical instruments accompanied the Outgoing brothers to the Auditorium extending a grand welcome. Bros. Sudip Chakraborthy and Saneem Ekka of second year philosophy acted as the masters of the ceremony and the formal words of welcome was delivered by Bro. Rohit Bandra. The Rector, Dean Of philosophy, the General Prefect, and the Representative of the Third year Philosophy Lighted the lamp and Flagged off the event which was followed by a Sharing from the part of Third year philosophy brothers. Bro. Abin Sunil Representing the Batch Shared in few words the key moments in their journey embarked along with St. Charles Seminary. A Video Clip with the intention of portraying the moments of joy and fun and generating nostalgia was also displayed. It was followed by the words of encouragement and appreciation from the Rector. The Event took a Different turn when the Dean of Philosophy distributed the Certificates to the third year Philosophy brothers who successfully completed their Philosophical studies at St. Charles Seminary. Unfortunately There also occurred an awkward moment when there was a misdistribution in the giving away of certificates which resulted in the shortage of the certificates. In another case appropriate certificates were not given to some of the brothers because of the failure in arranging and organizing the certificates accordingly. However, these issues could be solved without giving way to much chaos. In order to eliminate the clouds of boredom from among the audients, The First year Philosophy brothers performed an Energetic Dance performance. It was followed by the distribution of the certificates for the Top ten students of each Batch. Soon after The Second year philosophy brothers took their turn to bid the outgoing brothers a pleasant farewell by a melodious farewell song. The distribution of the prizes resumed and this time mementos were given to the Rank Holders of the Course of Philosophy. To make the event more lively and entertaining, the Second year Philosophy brothers performed another aesthetic dance performance. Bro. Suman Kerketta proposed an official vote of Thanks and the BOURN VIAGGIO 2025 came to an end by the Seminary Anthem.
Apart from the flaws occurred due to the misdistribution of the certificates, the Second year philosophy brothers succeeded in contributing to providing a conducive atmosphere for the Success of the event. Light, Sound, Media and Art department worked in unison and contributed significantly to the successful completion of the event.
