The Sports Day of St. Charles Seminary was held on 24 November 2025 with much interest and participation from the brothers. The programme began at 2:30 p.m. The chief guest for the day was Mr. Owais Khan from Jaffar Nagar, Nagpur, accompanied by Mr. Siddharth, a sports teacher from Khaparkheda School. Their presence encouraged the brothers and added meaning to the event.
The day began with the flag hoisting, after which the brothers took part in the march past. The Olympic torch was then carried across the ground, marking the beginning of the sports events. The simple but orderly start set the tone for the rest of the day.
A number of inter-class and inter-house competitions were conducted. These included 100 metres, 800 metres, 1500 metres, and relay races. The tug of war drew loud cheering and healthy competition among the brothers. Each event gave the brothers an opportunity to give their best and support one another. The atmosphere throughout the programme showed unity, cooperation, and friendly competition.
After the events, the prize distribution took place. Medals and trophies were given for the Sports Day competitions as well as for the games conducted during the year. The brothers received their prizes with joy, and everyone appreciated the effort and commitment put in by the participants.
In the final announcement, III Year Theology was declared the Inter-Class Champion for the year. In the Inter-House category, Theology House secured the title of Inter-House Champion. Their steady performance in various events helped them earn the overall points.
The Sports Day came to a close with gratitude and a sense of togetherness. It reminded us that discipline, teamwork, and perseverance are important not only in sports but also in our formation and daily life. The day ended with a quiet satisfaction that everyone had contributed to the success of the programme.
