Seminary Day & Cultural Program

The second day, 5 November 2025, continued the spirit of celebration with joy and gratitude. The morning began with the Holy Eucharist at the grotto, celebrated by Rev. Fr. Sebastian Poomattam, an ex-Carolian, followed by a group photo and the continuation of the sharing session. The highlight of the day was the Cultural Evening, graced by the Jubilarians and the chief guest, Rev. Fr. George T of the Diocese of Jabalpur. The programme opened with a graceful Prayer Dance, reminding us that “to dance is to pray with the body.” After this, the Rector delivered the Welcome Address and the Annual Report, encouraging us with the thought that “the future belongs to those who pray, prepare, and persevere.” A lively orchestra filled the auditorium with beautiful melodies, echoing the truth that “music is the language through which the soul speaks to God.” An Ex-Carolian then shared his reflections, reminding us that “once a Carolian, always a messenger of hope.” The skit titled “A Saint in Blue Jeans” creatively portrayed the beauty of holiness in everyday life, illustrating that “holiness is doing ordinary things with extraordinary love.” The evening continued with the Felicitation Ceremony, honouring the Jubilarians whose faithful service reminded us of the powerful line: “The only real hell is a life without love, and the only real heaven is a heart that serves.” The programme concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks and a joyful dance performance, bringing the day to a meaningful and memorable close.
