REPORT ON THE FEAST OF ST. CHARLES BORROMEO & JUBILARIANS’ DAY

“A shepherd’s heart always leads his people with love.”

The 4th of November was a day of great joy and spiritual renewal as our seminary celebrated the Feast of St. Charles Borromeo, the heavenly patron of St. Charles Seminary, Nagpur. The celebration beautifully combined the feast day with the felicitation of the Golden, Ruby, Silver, and Tin Jubilarians.

Morning Program – Sharing Session by Ex-Carolians

The day began at 9:00 AM with the sharing session by the Ex-Carolians. The session opened with a prayer led by the First-Year Theologians. Dn. Solomon Ishwarary, the General Prefect, served as the Master of Ceremonies and ensured the smooth flow of the program. Br. Thambi extended a warm and heartfelt welcome to all gathered. The resource person for the day was Rev. Fr. James, SAC, who shared his inspiring reflections with the Carolians. “Growth in priestly life begins with humility and deep prayer,” he reminded the students. Br. Ravit, OFM introduced the resource person, appreciating his vast experience and pastoral dedication.

The sharing session was moderated by Fr. Thomas K.M., who guided the discussions meaningfully and encouraged active participation. Later, the microphone was handed over to the Ex-Carolians, who joyfully shared their memories, experiences, and words of encouragement for the seminarians.
