The Carolian Theological Forum (CTF) hosted a vibrant Inter-Class Homily Competition on Thursday, 21st August 2025, at 8:30 p.m. in the Aula Magna. The evening commenced with a prayer led by Fr. Philomenraj OP, one of the judges, setting a reflective tone for the event. Dn. Pakiyaraj then extended a warm and heartfelt welcome to all attendees. The Secretary of CTF presented a brief report, followed by Bro. Alphin Joseph, the President of CTF, who clearly outlined the rules and judging criteria for the competition.
Bro. Alphin Joseph then moderated the competition, introducing each speaker and ensuring the event proceeded smoothly. The competition featured eight talented participants from theology, with four delivering their homilies in English on the topic “WITNESSING CHRIST IN A SECULAR WORLD” and four in Hindi on the topic “मरियम : विश्वास और आज्ञाकारिता की मिसाल“ Each speaker presented insightful and inspiring reflections, showcasing their oratory skills and theological understanding. Following the competition, Rev. Fr. Aquin Noronha, O.P., the Patron of CTF, offered words of encouragement, praising the efforts of the participants and highlighting the importance of preaching. The prizes were then distributed by the esteemed Judges, Fr. Sunoj OP and Fr. Rodger.

Bro. Albin Saju proposed a vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the judges, participants, organizers, and attendees. The program concluded with the singing of the CTF anthem. The entire event was skillfully compered by Bro. Shahaya Sugesh.
