The Silver Jubilee of the Carolian Theological Forum (CTF), marking its Foundation Day, was celebrated with great solemnity and joy at St. Charles Seminary.
The celebration began with a Solemn Holy Mass at 6:00 a.m. in the Main Chapel, in which theology brothers from all the study houses participated. The Eucharistic celebration set a prayerful tone for the day, thanking God for the journey and growth of the Carolian Theological Forum over the past twenty-five years.
At 8:30 a.m., an academic session was held where Fr. Peter Lobo delivered an insightful talk on the topic “Theological Trends and Challenges in India.” His session helped the participants reflect on contemporary theological developments and the challenges faced by the Church in the Indian context.
On the occasion of the Silver Jubilee, a cake-cutting ceremony was held to commemorate the 25 years of CTF, celebrating its contribution to theological reflection and discussion among the seminarians.
Later, at 10:30 a.m., all the brothers and fathers visited the Brahma Kumaris Vishva Shanti Sarovar at Jamtha. The visit offered an opportunity for interaction and learning about their spiritual centre and activities promoting peace and harmony.
The group returned to the seminary by 2:30 p.m., concluding the day’s celebration with gratitude and meaningful experiences. The Silver Jubilee celebration of the Carolian Theological Forum thus became a memorable occasion of prayer, reflection, and fellowship for the seminary community.
