The CTF proudly organized the Inter-class Carolian Bible Quiz Competition for the resident brothers of St. Charles Seminary on the evening of February 12, 2026. At 06:00 P.M., the Seminary premises transformed into a hub of academic fervor and spiritual inquiry. This year’s competition invited participants to journey through the foundational narratives of the Book of Genesis (Chapters 1–50), drawing from the scholarly depth of the NRSV Bible. Six spirited batches, each represented by five scholars, stood ready to test their mastery of the Word.
The event was graced by the presence of Rev. Fr. Pradick Ryan Pereira, OP, who officiated as the Quiz Master. His expertise provided both a challenge and an inspiration to the competing brothers.

The program was inaugurated with the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing the light of Christ that illuminates our intellect. Bro. Ravit opened the ceremony with a warm and eloquent welcome address, after which Bro. Suresh formally introduced Fr. Pradick Ryan Pereira, OP, setting a tone of scholarly excellence for the night.
Under the masterful coordination of the MC, Bro. Augustine, the competition unfolded with exhilarating intensity. The brothers displayed remarkable quickness and depth of understanding, keeping the audience captivated until the very last question.

Words of Wisdom & Gratitude
Following the announcement of the results, Rev. Fr. Aquin Noronha, O.P., the Rector of the Seminary, felicitated the Quiz Master with a shawl and a gift as a heartfelt token of the community’s appreciation.
In his keynote address, Rev. Fr. Pradick Ryan Pereira, OP exhorted the brothers to not merely study the scriptures for competition but to “delve deeper into the silence of the Word.” He encouraged them to cultivate the virtues of study and discipline, equipping themselves as future shepherds of the Church.
Conclusion
The evening drew to a graceful close with a vote of thanks delivered by Bro. Noyal Anthony. The atmosphere was one of celebration as prizes and certificates were distributed to the winners. Bro. Albin oversaw the certification process, with the elegant calligraphy provided by Bro. Kishore and Bro. Noel, while Bro. Ravi Kumar Thambi managed the award presentations.
After the CTF Anthem echoed through the hall, a group photograph was taken to immortalize this day of fraternity and faith. This successful event was meticulously organized by the I Theology brothers in collaboration with the CTF Committee.
