On 27 January 2026, the Feast of St. Angela Merici, the foundress of the Order of St. Ursula (OSU), was celebrated at St. Charles Seminary with devotion and gratitude.
The celebration began with the Holy Mass, for which Sr. Saroj gave a brief introduction, highlighting the life, mission, and spiritual legacy of St. Angela Merici, who dedicated her life to the education and formation of young women through the Ursuline charism.
In the evening during the Rosary, a video clip on the life of St. Angela Merici was presented. The video helped the brothers and sisters reflect on her inspiring life, her dedication to God, and her commitment to service and education.
Following this, a felicitation programme for the sisters was held in the Old Auditorium. The community expressed their appreciation and gratitude for the OSU Sisters and their valuable presence and service.
The celebration became a meaningful occasion to remember the life and mission of St. Angela Merici and to honor the contribution of the Ursuline Sisters in the Church and society.
