The Carolian Theological Forum inaugurated its new academic year 2025-2026 with a solemn ceremony held on 17th July 2025 in Aula Magna, at 8:30 PM.
The event began with the traditional lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries, followed by a prayer song. The esteemed gathering included Fr. Roger Godinho, OP, the Chief Guest and Resource Person, Fr. Aquin Noronha, OP, the Patron of CTF, and Fr. Prasad George, OP, the Director of CTF.
Bro. Samuel Kandulna extended a warm welcome to the attendees, while Fr. Aquin Noronha, OP greeted the newcomers with floral gestures. The Secretary of CTF presented the annual report and a recap of the previous meet, followed by Bro. Alphin Joseph, the President, who read the CTF constitution.
Fr. Roger Godinho, OP delivered an insightful lecture on “Challenges of Youth Ministry,” emphasizing the fundamental role of priests and religious in guiding the younger generation. The Director then felicitated the resource person, after which Fr. Aquin Noronha, OP addressed the gathering. A video presentation highlighting CTF’s journey over the past year added a reflective touch to the event.
Bro. Samir Kerketta proposed the vote of thanks, and the program concluded with the CTF anthem and refreshments. The Brothers of II theology conducted the program, with Bro. Alok Minj skilfully compering the entire evening.
