On Tuesday, 2nd December, the Carolian Theological Forum held its General Body Meeting in the Aula Magna, at 8:30 p.m. The meeting commenced with a short prayer. Bro. Sahaya Sugesh then welcomed the gathering, after which the Secretary presented the report of the previous five programmes. This was followed by the distribution of prizes for the essay competition.
The election of the new Office Bearers was then conducted. The President and Secretary were elected with an absolute majority, while the Treasurer and the two Executive Members were elected with a simple majority.

After the election, the outgoing office bearers handed over their responsibilities to the newly elected members. Rev. Fr. Prasad George, OP, the Director, then addressed the assembly, expressing gratitude to the outgoing team. He also announced the topic for the upcoming Bible Quiz, The Book of Genesis scheduled for 12th February. Additionally, he conveyed the staff’s decision regarding the patron saint of the Forum, stating that no new saint was needed since the Forum is named after “Carolian,” referring to St. Charles.
Rev. Fr. Aquin Noronha, OP, Patron of CTF, then addressed the gathering, extending his best wishes to the new office bearers and encouraging them to undertake their duties with commitment.
To conclude, Bro. Alphin Joseph, the outgoing President, proposed the vote of thanks. The meeting ended with a short prayer followed by a photo session. The entire event was skillfully compered by Dn. Pakiyaraj.
