Children’s Meet 2024

A children’s meet for all the children who attend the tuition in social work centres of T.V. Tower, Dasaratnagar, Ganganagar and Hazaripahad was conducted on 21 December 2023. The children arrived in the morning at 9 a.m. by the bus arranged by the seminary. Welcome drinks and snacks were provided. The inauguration of the event took place in the auditorium. Rev. Fr. Aquin Noronha O.P., the Rector, Rev. Fr. Charles Savarimuthu O.P., the Director of the Social Service Department, Br. Martin Hansda, Br. Vishal Kapse and one of the students lighted the lamp as the brothers of second-year philosophy sang a prayer song. Outdoor games for the students as well as for the elders who accompanied the children were held in the seminary ground till lunch at 1 p.m. Refreshments were provided during the interval. The literary and group events such as group dance (seniors and juniors), group song, and fancy dress (juniors and seniors) were held during the afternoon. Prizes were distributed for each event and the children of Ganganagar won the championship 2023-24. The event concluded by 4 p.m. with evening snacks. The students were dropped off at their respective centres by bus.
