St. Charles Seminary bid farewell to 4th Year Theology students on the evening of December 7, 2023, and in their honor, the seminary organized a prayer service and cultural program in St. Charles Centenary Memorial Auditorium. The students were ushered in by a solemn procession accompanied by traditional music, dance, and songs of jubilation. The programme began with invoking God’s blessing by a prayer meanwhile the dignitaries and the 4th year students lighted the lamps.
The Vice-Rector, Fr. Saju Kochuparambil, OP. in his message acknowledged the valuable contributions of fourth-year students, encouraged them to benefit from what they learned and wished them God’s blessing in their ministry ahead. A video presentation recalled the memories of these outgoing students. Dn. Roy Tomy on behalf of the 4th Theology students thanked all the professors and the entire Carolian Family for their help and support throughout their formation in the seminary. Fr. Thomas K.M, O.P., the dean of the department of theology, declared the result of the academic performance of fourth-year theology students, followed by the felicitation. Another event of the day was the handing over of the Office by outgoing General Prefect Dn. James Ekka to newly elected General Prefect Br. Kshitiz Kujur. The third-year theology students sang a beautiful farewell song followed by a vote of thanks. The whole event was arranged meticulously by the brothers of third-year theology
